I started in 2007 as a solo affiliate marketer — building, ranking, and monetizing a network of 40 websites in one of the most competitive niches on Google at the time. I learned SEO, copywriting, conversion, and the cost of relying on a single channel the hard way, the year the algorithm changed.

What came next was a decade-long run in paid acquisition. I joined First Beat Media in 2013 and stayed for 11 years, eventually leading the media buying function — owning strategy across ExoClick, TrafficJunky, TrafficFactory, TrafficStars, Taboola, MGID, RevContent, and a long tail of smaller networks. I built and trained teams, set up tracking and attribution from scratch, wired together APIs and postbacks, and pushed campaigns from spreadsheets into dashboards that updated themselves.

Somewhere along the way I stopped being just a media buyer. I picked up PHP, SQL, Python, and Linux — enough to set up my own VPS environments, run CRON jobs, and write the scripts I used to wait for an engineer to build. Now I work as a hybrid: a paid acquisition lead who can also ship the tooling around it.

Today I'm focused on the intersection of three things I've spent years on independently: performance media buying, workflow automation, and AI-powered processes. I work remotely with companies that take growth seriously — and that want someone who can do the work and build the systems that make the work scale.
